by and by white horses go

By and by white horses go
By and by white horses go
When I was a younger child
When I was a younger child
When I was a younger child I was riding

Speak to me in a softer tone
Speak to me in a softer tone
When I was a little boy
When I was a little boy
When I was a little boy I was singing

I'd sing
I'd sing
I'd sing
I'd sing

When I was a younger child
When I was a younger child
When I was a younger child I was riding

quietude

Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk with you again

Because a vision softly creeping, left its seeds while I was sleeping

And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains

Within the sound of silence.

In restless dreams I walked alone, narrow streets of cobblestone

'Neath the halo of a streetlamp, I turned my collar to the cold and damp

When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light that split the night

And touched the sound of silence.

contemporary artists for contemporary ladies

If you were a work of art by a contemporary artist, what would you be?
Or perhaps... if your wardrobe was an element of an artist's work ... a colour, a line quality, a medium?

Anya's red bow and Philip Govedare's landscape

Hanneli's ochre and burgundy and David Derksen's mirrors

Elisa's turquoise prints and Michael Cina's smudge paintings

Style Sightings' skirt slit and Anthony Cudahy's colour palette

Ada's androgynous coolness and Lizzy Stewart's pencil landscape

Karla's rusty orange and Rikka Sormunen's Nine Lives

Anne Catherine and Madame Lolina's grey scale
